Alex Megan
My passion is helping women recover and rebuild post-pregnancy. We do this together by focusing on correcting muscle imbalances, poor posture, and breathing patterns that can impact your quality of life as a new mom without you realizing it. It’s not just about getting your body back after having your baby. It’s about rebuilding your strength foundation and improving your core. I’m committed to training you to get the most out of every minute of your workout to reclaim your body. Whether we’re working one-on-one or with one of my group classes, you’ll reach new levels of fitness than you thought possible. I offer in-person and virtual training sessions and accountability groups.
As a mom of three, I understand what it takes to balance being a mom with fitting in time for my own fitness. After my first pregnancy, I felt strong and ready to “get after it” soon after giving birth. My second pregnancy brought me twins, and recovery was not as easy. I came to a harsh realization that not only did I need to put in more effort to post-natal recovery but that I didn’t properly rebuild my core after my first pregnancy. I wanted my confidence back. I wanted to feel strong after my workouts and for my sore back to stop. I wanted to “get after it” again. That led me to the world of postnatal corrective fitness, and now my core is at its strongest thanks to proper breathing, posture, and form.
I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Core Exercise Solutions Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. I also offer nutrition support to the moms who train with me as a Level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach. I use my Bootybarre and Bbarreless certifications in my workout classes as well.
